Beauly Station

Our two comfortable apartments in the old Victorian railway station building offer an ideal location for touring around the Highlands.

Beauly Station is a fascination old building, dating back to 1875 and housing two self catering apartments, both with their own entrance and space for parking.

The Stationmaster’s House is a spacious 3 bedroomed apartment on the upper floor. It was home for many years  to the stationmasters who ran what was then a very busy station for both passengers and goods.

Lying at the edge of the village with a view over open farmland, the apartment has a fully equipped dining kitchen and large shower room. As well as a spacious sitting room, two bedrooms have king size beds and the third bedroom can be configured as a twin room, or a super king size bedroom. The apartment has a small garden for the use of guests.

On the ground floor is Lord Lovat’s Waiting Room with a small patio area outside. The comfortable lounge was once a waiting from for the exclusive use of Lord Lovat and his family and guests. Its original fireplace now houses a cosy wood burning stove, ideal for the colder winter nights. The large king size bedroom was once the waiting room for commercial agents who arranged the passage of goods by rail.  A luxurious shower room and a small galley kitchenette complete the picture of this charming cottage style apartment.  Please note, there is not a full kitchen but it does have a sink, fridge, microwave and toaster.

Both apartments have a TV with satellite TV channels and a DVD player. There are books, board games and DVDs for your use, as well as free wifi.

Both apartments are set up for contactless access and we are following strict cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of our guests, our team and our local community.
